Overlay in Lr-Nestopia

Post by UberJay » Mon Aug 29, 2016 8:47 pm

Firstly, thanks for reading this.

I'm running Retro Pie 4 on a Rasberry Pi 2 and its a clean install. I then ran Floobs script and chose default 1080 overlays (option 1) which installed the retro station TV overlay. My problem is this...

On SNES and Megadrive it looks fine however on NES the sides look squashed and the proportions of the images looks odd.

I think perhaps the screen area for NES is bigger but I could be wrong. Could anyone help me solve this..

Thanks.

Are you still using Nestopia for the NES emulation?
What did you end up changing?

Hi Floob,

I installed Nestopia (thanks for pointing me in the correct location) and then instead of using the RetroStation TV Overlay I used another one from your script (which I prefer as the sides are darker so you can concentrate on the game more).

So, it's not so much of a fix... More of a work around but one I'm happy with.

I just wanted to say a big thanks to you for all of your help using your scripts has allowed me to build the Retro Gaming console of my dreams. Now I just have to build myself a mini Lego Nes cover which someone shared online for the Rasberry Pi...

Happy Days :)
